How to make portfolio entries link to another page

Since Camilla 1.5.0 you can make your portfolio entires link to other pages instead of directly opening up a gallery. This is demonstrated in the Red Camilla Demo – Portfolio

To do that, follow these steps:

1) Go to Appearance > Page Builder and place a “Secion” block in your One Page layout. Click on the blue cog icon and give it a name (“Portfolio”) and set your Section Style to Horizontal Scroll Page

2) Place the “Horizonta Link” block inside your new Section and open it up

3) Give this block a width (for example, “700” for 700 pixels). Paste in a link in the Link URL field. This will be the link to the page that should open up when someone clicks on this block. Finally upload a background image/cover photo.

If you want to link to a page that’s a part of your site, you need to write only the part that starts with /#. For example  /#video-projects or /#contact

Since I wanted my Portfolio page to have 3 gallery categories (Client Work, Video Projects and Personal Projects), I placed 3 “Horizontal Link” blocks in my Portfolio Section.

The result is a page containing what looks like portfolio thumbnails, but instead of opening up a galley, the open up another page.
